Summer Field Trips Wrap-Up: A Season of Exploration & Growth

This summer, youth in our Insight to Foresight program had the chance to explore new places, build connections, and learn outside the Teen Center. From art and science to nature and community, our field trips gave students hands-on experiences that fostered teamwork, curiosity, and confidence.

Where We Went

  • Portland Art Museum – Students explored diverse art collections and gained new perspectives on creativity and culture.

  • OMSI – A day of interactive science exhibits, hands-on experiments, and curiosity sparked.

  • Camp Hope – Time outdoors to focus on community, resilience, and fun in nature.

  • Oregon Zoo – Learning about wildlife, conservation, and the environment.

  • Lewisville Regional Park – A day in the outdoors building friendships and enjoying the summer sun.

  • Seaside, Oregon – A coastal adventure full of team bonding, reflection, and fun memories.

  • Blue Lake Regional Park – Outdoor activities, recreation, and time together in nature.

  • Seattle – A big-city adventure that combined exploration, culture, and connection.

Looking Ahead

We’re grateful to our staff, volunteers, and community partners who made these trips possible. Most of all, we’re proud of our youth for showing up with curiosity and enthusiasm every step of the way. We can’t wait to see where the Insight to Foresight program takes us next!
