Kandi Snyder brings over two decades of leadership experience rooted in equity, community transformation, and the power of human connection. As Development Director of The Foundation WA, she leads with vision and heart—committed to breaking generational cycles of poverty and incarceration through investment in youth, support for families, and reimagining systems of care.

Her role extends far beyond fundraising. Kandi steers the organization’s development strategy, cultivates meaningful partnerships, and secures vital resources that allow The Foundation’s work to grow and deepen across Southwest Washington. Under her leadership, the organization is not only expanding its programs, but strengthening its foundation—from reentry services and youth stabilization, to the relaunch of Bridgeview Community Resource Center and the creation of culturally responsive initiatives.

Kandi’s work is guided by a belief in what’s possible when community is at the center. As a mother, systems builder, and lifelong advocate, she brings a relentless drive to every space she enters. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to justice, sustainability, and the long-term well-being of children and families—especially those historically left behind. Through every project and partnership, Kandi is helping shape a future where hope and opportunity are no longer the exception, but the norm.
