Emily Wilson is the Communications Manager at The Foundation WA. Emily has been doing communications and marketing work for various nonprofit organizations over the last 7 years, including United Way and The Historic Trust. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in New Media Communications and was a proud member of the OSU Marching Band and the student magazine.

Coming from a small, rural community in Easter Oregon, Emily has always believed that one should strive to be a part of one’s community - not just live in it. This led to her pursuing a career in the nonprofit sector. Knowing that her efforts contribute to building a stronger, more vibrant community fills her with deep pride and purpose in her work. Emily is passionate about amplifying the voices through an equitable lens to her community. She combines creativity with strategic insight to effectively share the impactful work being done and inspire others to get involved.

In her free time, Emily enjoys a variety of activities—starting her mornings with weightlifting, cooking and baking whenever she gets the chance, diving into a good book, and spending quality time with her husband, son, friends, and two corgis, Chip and Olive.
