The grand opening of The Foundation WA’s RTC Complex marked an important milestone in expanding supportive housing and reentry services for individuals returning to the community after incarceration. Designed to provide stability, dignity, and access to critical resources, the RTC Complex represents a meaningful step toward reducing barriers and supporting long-term success.
Our team brought The Foundation’s support directly to Fort Vancouver High School, helping students with homework, goal-setting, and mentorship. Through guidance, connection, and a little fun, we create a space for growth, accountability, and confidence—preparing students for success beyond the classroom.
Teens in our December cooking program with the Clark County Food Bank learned hands-on skills for healthy, budget-friendly meals. Beyond cooking, the program built confidence, independence, and connection—showing our youth that food can nourish both bodies and futures.
December at The Foundation WA was filled with moments of service, connection, and community care. From youth-led Giving Tuesday activities to shared meals and holiday giveaways, we came together to support neighbors and families throughout the season.
For many of the teens in our Teen Preparation Center, a hot meal at home isn’t something they can always count on. Since the beginning of The Foundation, we’ve made it a priority to provide a hot meal for anyone who walks through our doors.

Youth from The Foundation WA visited the Humane Society for Southwest Washington to learn about animal care, adoption, and community service. They spent time with the animals, donated nine boxes of pet supplies to the CHOW program, and discovered how small acts of kindness can make a big impact — for both people and pets.
Families across our community received school supplies, clothing, and essentials at The Foundation WA’s Youth Resource & School Supply Giveaway — a day of connection, mentorship, and support made possible through partnership with Big 12 Performance and A1 Elite Basketball.
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, youth from The Foundation WA joined Latinos Unidos y Floreciendo and the Seattle Seahawks for a day of cultural connection and environmental learning at Heritage Farm. From traditional dances to lessons in sustainability, the event celebrated community, culture, and the power of shared experiences.
