Community Recap: Youth Resource & School Supply Giveaway

Confidence starts with feeling supported — and when young people have what they need to succeed, they’re ready to take on the world.

To continue supporting local families this fall, The Foundation WA teamed up with Big 12 Performance and A1 Elite Basketball for our Youth Resource & School Supply Giveaway. Together, we provided school supplies, clothing, hygiene products, and home essentials to families across our community.

In total, 56 families — about 120 individuals — joined us to pick up supplies and resources. We also distributed 43 home supply boxes filled with nonperishable food, laundry detergent, and household essentials — offering extra support to an estimated 178 individuals.

Beyond the supplies, the event gave youth the chance to connect with mentors, sign up for athletic programs, and access community resources that foster confidence, discipline, and personal growth.

Big 12 Performance and A1 Elite Basketball continue to make a lasting impact through their focus on strength, leadership, and teamwork — showing young people what’s possible when they believe in themselves.

Through partnerships like these, The Foundation WA continues to invest in our youth — empowering them to dream big, build confidence, and feel supported every step of the way.
