Yolanda Turner
Court Support / Resource Manager
Yolanda Turner serves as the Court Support and Resource Manager at The Foundation WA. In her role, she helps youth navigate the court system, understand their cases, and connect with programs that can guide them toward brighter futures. Yolanda also provides crucial support to parents—especially those who do not speak English—helping them better understand the judicial process and available resources.
Since joining the organization in August 2025, Yolanda has brought a strong background in law to her work, having served in multiple law firms around Vancouver. With a degree in paralegal studies and a deep passion for helping others, she is dedicated to empowering families and youth through education and advocacy.
Beyond the courtroom, Yolanda is actively involved in community outreach, from handing out food boxes to mentoring youth on how to become confident, responsible young adults. Her goal is to show the kids she works with that they don’t have to settle—that with the right guidance and opportunities, they can shape a better future.
At home, Yolanda’s life is full of love and energy—she and her husband share a blended family of 13 children and 21 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and lives by her personal motto: “Live life to the fullest.”
